We have produced a more elegant new image of the alignment model to use in all future discussions. This was not done just for esthetic reasons!
In a previous post I described how we revised all the terminology we traditionally used to describe the "elements" of the model --- this in order to keep it fully relevant to the current IT environment. The degree of interest our work has aroused has been quite satisfying to us. Our organization has presented the "inaugural" session of our new program "Aligning IT and Business Strategies". The customers' reviews of the course were very satisfying to us also, and the course will continue to be offered at the Executive Business Institute in 2008 (Continue watching the course information in the above link for the 2008 dates, which we plan to post soon).
If you have any question, or any discussion, about course content that aren't answered on the web link I will be pleased to hear from you any time, via e-mail or via phone at 845-732-6518.
We have also undertaken a major redevelopment of the "Alignment Assessment Instrument" described in a previous post. That redevelopment will be described on this blog in the next few weeks.
